PLAYAS DE ROSARITO, B.C. — Wednesday, August 12, 2026. To strengthen the competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized businesses in Playas de Rosarito through the adoption of digital tools, the Consejo Consultivo de Desarrollo Económico de Playas de Rosarito (CCDER) is moving forward with “Mi Negocio en Línea,” a project supported with resources from the Baja California Business Trust (FIDEM).
“This initiative is designed to promote the digital transformation of local businesses through the adoption of technology tools that strengthen their online presence and support their promotion, marketing, positioning and growth in digital environments,” said César Rivera González, President of CCDER.
The project includes training, advisory support and technical assistance to help participating businesses implement digital marketing, e-commerce and online positioning strategies that can expand their market reach, improve competitiveness and help them adapt to evolving consumer behaviors.
Through Mi Negocio en Línea, the program seeks to benefit 50 micro and small businesses in Playas de Rosarito, providing them with knowledge and tools to improve their online visibility, connect more effectively with prospective customers and create new opportunities to promote and market their products and services.
Presentation to Tourism Service Providers and Ranch Owners in Cañón Rosarito
As part of the project’s implementation, CCDER is conducting an outreach strategy with different economic sectors throughout Playas de Rosarito to explain the program’s scope, general participation criteria and the support available to selected businesses.

During the monthly meeting of Cañón Rosarito A.C., the Mi Negocio en Línea program was presented to tourism ranch owners and service providers operating along this route.
Participants learned about the project’s objectives and benefits, as well as the process that will be followed to identify and select participating businesses.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to address questions and exchange perspectives regarding the main digitalization challenges faced by businesses in the area. This feedback will help strengthen the program’s implementation during its initial phase.
Several business owners expressed interest in participating, particularly those operating in rural tourism, gastronomy and service-related industries, all of which contribute to Playas de Rosarito’s economic and tourism offering.
These outreach efforts will continue ahead of the formal registration and selection process, with the goal of ensuring that more local businesses are aware of the opportunities offered by Mi Negocio en Línea to advance their digital transformation.
Through this project, CCDER, with support from FIDEM, seeks to help local businesses adopt new tools and develop the capabilities needed to compete in an increasingly digital marketplace, expand their market opportunities and create stronger conditions for sustainable growth.
