Rosarito Emprende 2026 builds on the program developed in 2025, with the goal of strengthening support for local talent and Playas de Rosarito’s economic and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The program is structured around three core pillars:
Soy Emprendedor
Focused on developing entrepreneurial skills among middle school, high school and university students through conferences, workshops and panel discussions with local business leaders.
Rosarito Impulsa
Focused on the development and formalization of entrepreneurs and MSMEs through training, pre-acceleration, mentoring and connections to certification opportunities.
Rosarito Conecta
Focused on promoting an entrepreneurial culture, showcasing success stories and creating business connections through digital content, podcasts and networking events.
Alignment with Strategic Planning
The program aligns with Public Policy 7.7 — Economic and Sustainable Development of the Baja California State Development Plan 2022–2027, as well as Objectives 1, 2 and 3 of the Economy and Innovation Sector Program 2022–2027.
These areas focus particularly on strengthening MSMEs, entrepreneurship, human capital development and innovation.
At the municipal level, the initiative aligns with the Economic Development and Prosperity Pillar of the Playas de Rosarito Municipal Development Plan 2024–2027 through initiatives focused on strengthening MSMEs, connecting young talent with the business sector, digital transformation and the promotion of local projects.
